UV PRO PENLIGHT


The UV Professional Penlight is a manual counterfeit detection UV pen used to verify:

  • Currency (US dollar and many international currencies)
  • Debit/Credit Cards
  • US & International government-issued identification documents (e.g. Driver Licenses and Identification Cards) & travel documents (Passports, Passport Cards, Permanent Resident Cards, Visas)
  • Various negotiable instruments, such as traveler checks, money orders and casino chips.

Quickly & easily detect counterfeit documents:

  • Uses only high-quality Nichia LED
  • Patented circuit design that allows the LED light to remain effective, even when batteries weaken
  • A design that houses AAA batteries, as opposed to button batteries: replacement batteries are easy to find and the Pro Penlight lasts longer between battery replacements

What types of documents can the Pro Penlight Authenticate?

The Pro Penlight allows the user to authenticate the presence of invisible UV-fluorescing security features on many types of important documents, including: cash, credit cards, traveler checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, driver licenses, passports, matricula consular, and a variety of other ID documents.

What environments can the Pro Penlight be used in?

The UV Professional Penlight is specifically designed to be used as a portable money detector pen for applications where it is not possible or convenient to use a regular A/C plug-in type UV light. As such, the UV Pro Pen is ideal for field-officers (Police, FBI, Secret Service and private security). Also, in recent years, we have seen customers that have adopted mobile POS solutions using the UV Pro Pen as their POS device for document authentication.

The money detector pen is shock resistant, and waterproof to around 25 feet.

What comes with the Pro Penlight when I buy it?

Warranty Info

For purposes of this warranty statement, the "Life of the Product" is defined as five (5) years from the date of original purchase.

The UV Professional Edition Penlight counterfeit detection device is warranted to be free from material and workmanship defects, as long as the original purchaser owns the unit, during the life of the product. Supplier's limit of liability under this warranty is to repair or replace the product at Supplier's option. Consequential costs such as, but not limited to, loss of use, loss of time or freight charges are not covered. Any product that has been abused, altered, tampered, or incorrectly operated is not covered. Product finish is excluded from this warranty. No other warranties are expressed or implied. We reserve the right to make changes in design, materials and specifications without prior notice.
