What types of documents can the CT-600 Authenticate?

The CT-600 is designed for authentication of banknotes (currency), only. Many of the world’s major currencies are available as software that can be installed onto the unit, for example, US dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, Mexican peso, and more.

How does the CT-600 work?

The CT-600 is an automatic banknote authenticator. The CT-600 mechanically pulls the banknote being tested through its testing area, where it utilizes infrared and visible light to evaluate the printed quality of the note and to “read” certain types of Machine-Readable Characters printed in both visible and invisible inks. The CT-600 also reads and deciphers magnetic characters. After identifying the type of note, the CT-600 confirms that the length, width and thickness of the note are correct.

What environments can the CT-600 be used in?

The CT-600 is designed for use in high-volume transaction environments. Once a user learns how to feed bills into the CT-600, they will be able to test up to 35 or 40 bills per minute. The lithium battery allow for use of the CT-600 remotely, in locations where no power supply is available.

What comes with the CT-600 when I buy it?

• A CT-600 unit with a lithium battery already installed
• Mini USB Cable (The cable is not needed unless/until you need to install updated software. For example, when a new-design banknote is released.)

The CT-600 units are warranted to be free from material and workmanship defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

Supplier's limit of liability under this warranty is to repair or replace the product at Supplier's option. Consequential costs such as, but not limited to, loss of use, loss of time or freight charges are not covered. Any product that has been abused, altered, tampered or incorrectly operated is not covered. Product finish is excluded from this warranty. No other warranties are expressed or implied. We reserve the right to make changes in design, materials and specifications without prior notice.
